Dr Subha Gora is an Associate Professor in English at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She is passionate about the fields of development, teaching and research which have also helped her have a bigger picture on issues. She has experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English language and literature, Communicative English, Soft Skills, training students for campus placements, consultancy and training. Teaching students from different backgrounds and inclinations has aided her in understanding the nuances of classroom teaching and the skill of orienting her classes towards practical implications of English language and literature. Her volunteer work has given her an opening to meet people from different socio-economic, political, and cultural backgrounds, from India and abroad and learn from their experiences. It has also given her the opportunity to travel to a few places which helped her understand the world better. She also holds a Diploma in Development Leadership and other certifications from Coady International Institute, St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. She splits her free time among travelling, volunteering in NGOs and her other hobbies.
