Semester Abroad

The flagship program, Global MBA enables students to get the opportunity to study one semester at KLH GBS in India and another semester abroad in any of the chosen countries. This program aims to enhance the global perspective of the students by providing dynamic possibility to learn through national as well as international exposure. This enables transforming the lives of students through holistic pedagogy, multinational exposure which not only honed the unique talents of students but also contribute to the capacity-building.
Besides, the business school has a provision of the lateral entry possible with attractive credit transfers, multiple entries, and exit options for certain eligible programs.

Entrepreneurship

An exclusive Incubation Center provides a conducive environment for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystem. KL Center for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) regularly organizes mentoring sessions, experts talk, ideation workshops, hackathons, boot camps, pitching platforms, and various other events to inspire young minds and shape next-generation entrepreneurs. Seed funds, sponsorships and other fundings are provided towards promoting an entrepreneurial culture.
The school encourages partnering with industries for research and development. As part of the knowledge exchange program, eminent and enterprising professionals from the industry are invited to take up joint resource projects with our faculty. The students are also involved in projects to develop new solutions to real-world business problems and encourage the research environment on the campus.

USP of KLH GBS

Startup cell and incubator offering pre-incubation, incubation and acceleration programs to support KLH students and faculty in their venture creation. The next move is towards venturing out to establish ACIC led incubator in the Kondapur campus.
Data analysis labs are being set up in campus. The softwares available include Adobe, NSmart, SPSS and MS Office. This will boost the research and practice output of the institute.
2 weeks orientation and induction program with bridge courses to familiarize the students with the program structure and teaching pedagogy.
Soft skills training to build attitude and aptitude in semester 1 culminating in students writing the GMAT exam and appearing for VERSANT tests. We are already imparting training. The examination metric would follow soon.
3 months stipend-assisted summer internship program
1 month social sector internship program- “Smart Villages” to be implemented from the next academic year onwards
Optional Semester abroad program- tie-ups with universities in Asia, Europe and USA. Programs with AIT, Thailand are already in operation and include innovation boot camps apart from semester exchange.

Companies offer live projects to students to give them hands on training. They also enable industry connect and leadership development
We want to encourage regular student participation in case competitions organized by companies like TAS, RPG, Loreal etc. to provide hands on training and improve chances for PPIs and PPOs.
Case based teaching pedagogy inspired by Harvard and practiced across premier B-schools is already in practice. We plan to implement immersions and exposure visits too following suit of Ivy League colleges.
We use flip classroom model to make students equal stakeholders in learning
Use of AV tools in class for better student engagement. We seek to implement pedagogy where management concepts are taught through movies and TV shows.
Use of simulations for hands on experience and better understanding and application.
We use gamification and other active learning modes to making learners co-creators of knowledge.
