Biography
Dr. Anand Bethapudi currently serves as Dean and Professor at KLH Global Business School, where he has been instrumental in driving academic excellence, institutional growth, and student-centric transformation initiatives. With over twenty-five years of distinguished experience in higher education, he has established himself as a dynamic academic leader, researcher, mentor, motivational speaker, and institutional strategist.
Holding a Ph.D. in Management along with qualifications in MBA, Engineering, and UGC-NET/JRF, Dr. Anand combines multidisciplinary expertise with visionary leadership. He has significantly contributed to areas including Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Leadership Development, Tourism & Hospitality Management, and Institutional Advancement. Widely recognized for his impactful communication skills and institution-building capabilities, he has consistently inspired students and faculty toward innovation, ethical leadership, and professional excellence.
Beyond academia, he actively contributes to social welfare initiatives and humanitarian activities, including blood donation and community service programs through the NTR Blood Donation Trust, reflecting his commitment to social responsibility and nation-building.

Dr. Anand has played a transformative role in curriculum innovation, academic administration, research mentorship, and institutional development across leading universities and management institutions in India. At National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, he successfully designed and implemented the Diploma in Food Production – Skill Development curriculum, enabling rural youth to secure employability opportunities in reputed hospitality organizations nationwide.
A recognized research mentor and academic evaluator, he has guided doctoral scholars across multiple universities and served as a Ph.D. thesis adjudicator for institutions such as Acharya Nagarjuna University, Jain University, and Bharathiar University. His academic scholarship includes more than 95 research contributions comprising books, Scopus-indexed papers, patents, book chapters, conference proceedings, and journal publications.
Throughout his career, he has held several prestigious leadership positions including Professor & Director, Dean, Associate Director, Principal, Head of Department, Controller of Examinations, and Academic Coordinator at reputed institutions such as CMR University, Guru Nanak Institutions, ICFAI University, GITAM University, and Christ University. In these roles, he successfully strengthened academic governance, accreditation preparedness, faculty development, admissions strategy, and institutional visibility.

He has represented India on international platforms, notably presenting his research on “The Role of ICT in the Tourism Industry” at USM University, Penang, Malaysia.
