KLH Global Business School Celebrated the Spirit of Womanhood
KL Deemed to be University, one of India's leading private universities celebrates the spirit of womanhood. On 07 March 2023, International Women's Day was celebrated at the KLH Global Business School campus at Kondapur, Hyderabad.
The management were profoundly delighted to patron Ms. Swapna as the chief guest who is an anchor, journalist and classical singer; the other guests who were present are Dr. Bollineni Keerthi, the president of Vasavya Mahila Mandli, who is also a social worker and a changemaker and Dr. Anitha Patibandla, M.D, DGO, obstetrician and a gynecologist.
The ambition of the event was to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities and acknowledge the contributions of both men and women to make the society a better place.
The event had a secured brawny as the speech by Ms. Swapna was thought provoking. The celebrations included a welcome song by BBA 2nd year students who shared vocals on the song "maguva maguva". It recommenced with a prize distribution to the winners of intramural sports competitions that were distributed by the guests.
Reflective of how the event was inaugurated, by lightning the lamp by Dr. Ramakrishna, Director, KLH GBS and the guests, it is a symbol of prosperity on the prolonged grapple for the women rights in the history and the present quell to be impartial regarding prejudice.
